I am watching on the news right now and it is so sad that this happened.

Debbie, I watched the news tonight and got so emotional over the ceremonies.  The fact that the kids write notes and leave messages for their friends that were victims just got me so upset.  Bless their hearts.  Our office manager is VT alumni.  Thank you for posting this remembrance.

Hi Naoma, the ceremony was very touching and emotional. Hard to watch the families at the memorial. Thanks for commenting.

Audrey, this was a long day, very emotional. The memorial was absolutely beautiful and the drillfield was packed with people. I couldn't walk around the memorial today, just too hard to see family members there. I will next week when things are quieter. Thanks for your support.

Duane, it doesn't seem like a year could have passed already. When they read the names of the victims and a mini biography, it was incredibly sad, the potential that was lost.

Debbie, so true. Life was ended so early before the many leaders that would have evolved from this tragedy.

Debbie, I missed this on the day; it is good that you brought it to our attention.  It is so sad when these things happen.  Sometimes life just doesn't make sense.  I guess it won't this side of heaven.

Marchel, It certainly doesn't make sense and I have to believe that God allowed this for a greater purpose than we can see now. They had a beautiful ceremony, it was very touching. We're going out to visit our daughter on Tuesday, so we'll be able to go to the memorial at a much quieter time. Thanks for commenting.
