FOREST LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS TREE SALE - Starting Sat., Nov. 24, 2012

The Forest Lions Club will hold its annual Christmas Tree Sale starting at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Forest, VA. The sale is planned to run through December 11 or until sold out. Thanks to the vigorous support of the community, trees sold out early last year!

 Forest Lions Club Tree Sale

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the net proceeds from the Forest Lions Club Tree Sale are returned to the community through various charitable donations including providing eye exams and glasses, yearly vocational scholarships, food baskets for the needy and support of the Forest Youth Athletic Association.

 

Three hundred trees including 6 to 10 foot Fraser Fires and a limited number of 6-8 foot white pines will be on sale. Trees again come from Slaughters Tree Farm in Floyd, VA and are cut fresh just days before delivery.

The Schedule for tree sales will be:

2:00 -7:00PM          Monday thru Friday

9:00AM - 7:00PM     Saturdays

1:00 - 7:00PM         Sundays

 

The Lions tree lot is located adjacent to Benjamin's Restaurant, 14900 Forest Rd, Forest, VA (Route 221), across from Kroger.

Hi Debbie,  It won't be long and it will be that time again.  Six weeks until Thanksgiving and many of the tree lots will already have them on display for those eager buyers. Yes, I know this blog was written 2 years ago, but it is still relevent to the season.  Have a great Holiday season coming up.
